‪Max Planck Research Group Leader (m/f/div) ‪in mass spectrometry-based proteomics ‪or biomedical mass spectrometry

An exciting and competitive Max Planck Research Group Leader position is available immediately at ‪the Max Planck Institute for Molecular Physiology in Dortmund, Germany. This is a unique opportunity ‪to become part of a world-renowned research institute with a diverse faculty with backgrounds in ‪chemistry, biology and physics, and to perform interdisciplinary science in a lively and supportive ‪environment!

‪We are seeking a highly motivated, self-driven and creative thinker who is prepared to take risks in ‪defining and addressing important scientific problems. The successful candidate will develop an ‪independent research program using their own budget, which will fund research positions, ‪consumables, and equipment. This includes a W2 position (equivalent to an assistant or untenured ‪associate professor level). Candidates should have an outstanding scientific track record with clear ‪evidence of leadership and ability to perform cutting-edge research in the areas of mass spectrometry-‪based proteomics, metabolomics, imaging, including computational approaches.
