Workflow

Substances enter the system as powder-stocks (Compound Acquisition), are weighed, dissolved and reformatted into storage tubes (Weighing & Dissolution). Key element is the automated sample management system for the storage of substances under industry standard conditions (Automatic Compound-Store). Quality control is ensured by LC-MS and Tube Auditor™ inspection of the sample collection (Quality Control). Retrieved samples are reformatted for assays or shipment with the aid of a pipetting-robot (Reformatting & Delivery). Custom cultivated cell lines are employed for biological high-throughput assays (Cell-based Assays), while the influence of a compound’s binding to an enzyme is determined in biochemical high-throughput assays (Biochemical Assays).
